It seems that we have an abundance of people who love our family. They secretly collected their hard-earned money to bestow a gift to us. I don’t know what we have done to deserve such a gift, but I am truly thankful for it and what it represents. This gift means that my husband can come home when he gets leave at Christmastime, it means that the burden of putting away every penny I can is gone, it means that God has answered my prayer in epic fashion.
Words can not express the love that I have in my heart for each one of you. You are each a gift to me; a gift that God gave me to get me through this time. Your love for Christ shines in a dark world and I am truly blessed to call you friends.
I know that I can never pay you back monetarily, but I hope that you know that I will try to pay it forward every day. I hope that Christ uses me to impact the world for Him, even if it’s just my corner of the world. All that we can say is we love you all and thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
“Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
