He told me that the manufacturer had the table in stock and would ship it the week after Thanksgiving. He also said that he would match the price of the other store, deliver and set-up for free, AND if the table did not arrive in time he would give me a loaner table to use while my husband was home! I couldn’t believe it!
When I went to pay for the table, the gentleman at this family owned store explained that when he told his grandfather of my story he said “we are going to get her a table.” The employees that I spoke with thanked my husband (and I) for our service. I know that they probably lost money on the sale, but I am so thankful! I am so thankful to have a dining room that looks really nice, but more thankful that there are people and businesses out there that truly appreciate our military and their families. You don’t see a lot of businesses going out of their way to help service members anymore.
If you live in the Jacksonville area I encourage you to visit their store. If they don’t have something, they can probably order it. They are nice, Godly people who truly care about their customers. Their gesture meant the world to me!
